My Dear Oliver,

I have had so many weak spells lately I have not been able to write you. The doctor says it is neuralgia of the nerves. Today I feel a little stronger and did not have to use a cane all day. I do hope I will soon b e able to do some work. I was not able to go to S.S. and Church Sunday. Kevia was here today and brought a lot of ironed clothes. She had taken my washing home and washed and ironed them. Mrs. Sverson Brought cake and ice cream last October 1st to celebrate her birthday. Chester had a man fix the gutter on porch and charges were $16.00. I will be so glad when you get home for I am lonesome. Catherina makes me tired. She comes up at night to see if I am wasting anything or throwing something out; she even looks in garbage can. I am so glad you will be here next week. Chester said there were 9 at S.S. last Sunday. The mother of the boy next to Roy on Ballou Street came and played the piano. I received all those pretty things you sent me. Thanks. I had to stop writing you as Catherine came up and wanted to hear some silly stuff on the radio. I think she has knocked out the one you loaned her. I will be so glad to see you but I am afraid you will be disappointed in me as I am not what I used to be. Have so little strength and now winter is just ahead. I am 76 and how to carry on at home and church I cannot figure out. I know Mariel does not like Chester leaving their big S.S> for out little one. God only knows. The big boys have quit for jobs and Magnus Wall was not there Sunday. I wish this war was over and that nations can agree and peace reign. Bethy Yill is hounding and fitting up her home. Also the woman above them. He married again. Donald is a fine boy and is after the falling leaves, shops and now brings up coal as it has turned into fall and nights are quite cool. I think Kevia is planning to meet you Thursday, 4th I will surely be glad to see you. I have done so little work upstairs and down you will have to close your eyes as it will have to wait. When I go to get mail everyone I see asks about you. Am glad you are helping in the Lords work.

With Love,

 Your loving mother m. Bilhorn.
