Dear Ollie,

            I just recieve your Book from C.B.L and I been looking for a picture of my self But I can find one as yet how do you like the army. when I get big I hope I can get in the army. you look swell in your unform, to bad your mother has to be by herself haven’t you a sister she can go by, she can take care of your mother I remember you in my prays every night because I want you to come back to us boys and to open the club and have a lot of fun like we used to. Robert Unger gos to my school now we get along O.K. we fight now and then, but we make up.

hope you like the army and try to write me and I will try ot answer write away. my mother works nights and she works for the army and navy. And she don’t get home till 2 o clock in the morning But I wish she stay home But she is trying to help so I am glad.

we have a lot of fun at home and every Day after School Pat Rooney always chases me   Your C.B.L.
