My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello Honey, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well Honey no mail today but boy all those wonderful letters day before yesterday sure made up for a few days. I don’t expect we will get mail here very often but when we do get some it will sure be wonderful. Gee darling it is so darn swell to get your sweet letters. They mean so darn much to me and they are so darn precious. They make me so darn happy and make me feel so wonderful in every way. I read the latest ones I got over and over until I got some new ones Honey and then I read them until I get some more and gee they are wonderful every time I read them. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dear. You are so darn sweet darling and I love you so awful, awful much.

I am feeling fine now dear and getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is still plenty wet here. It rained about all nite last nite and looks like it will start pouring any minute now. Boy I will sure enjoy that wonderful climate back there honey. We will be so darn happy together all the time dear and every season will really be wonderful to us.

Boy Honey, Mother and Dad sure were complimenting their daughter about her Christmas dinner. Gosh Honey they said you sure had a wonderful dinner and really had everything. They sure are proud of you darling and boy but am I. I would sure of given anything to have been there and enjoyed your swell dinner Honey. Mother named everything you had for dinner and in two different letters she was telling me about it. I haven’t received your letter about Christmas honey but I am sure anxious to get it and see what you got. The folks were sure tickled over the swell presents you got them to Honey. Mother said that Dad just about lived with that little weather house. Honey you are so darn wonderful in every way. I only wish I could tell you in writing honey just how wonderful you really are and just how much I really love you. I am sure hoping that this thing will be over before very long and I can really tell you in person Honey.

Honey you answered me in one of your letters about our trip to Texas and where ever else we want to go. Honey I think the way you had it figured out was perfect. Two weeks ought to be plenty long enough for us to stay around home before we leave. We have been away from each other over sixteen months now darling and when I get back we are going to be by ourselves as much as possible darling. We can go down in Texas and stay a few days and if we want to go somewhere else and spend a few days we can do that. We are going to go where ever we want to darling and go whenever we want to. Honey dear it will be so darn swell cause we can be together all the time and I won’t have to leave you like I did before. We have waited a long time for our honeymoon and what I mean we are sure going to enjoy ourselves when our time does come. Honey you be sure and write me whenever you get any new ideas now.

Honey I received the little devotional book and a Christmas message to the men in the service from Reverend Meyer. It sure was nice. It told where all the men in the service from Grace Lutheran were and about a lot of them that had been home on furlough. I will sure be glad when I can join Grace church Honey.

Honey I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will. You are so darn precious and so wonderful in every way darling. Honey you are so darn pretty and so darn sweet and all mine to. Honey dear isn’t it swell to be man and wife and really belong to each other. We can be together every minute of our time when we get back together and we can do what ever we want to darling. You are the most adorable little wife in the world Honey and gee but I am proud of you. Please take good care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are wonderful. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will answer them and bring us together as soon as possible. You are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dear.

Well dolly I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now Honey. Please be awful careful and take good care of my sweet little wife dear. Remember chin up and always happy darling. Tell all hello dear.

Love and more love is all I can say dear.

Loads and loads of love to my dearest darling wife.
