My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello Honey, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be my sweet little dolly. Honey when I got in from work tonite I had the sweetest letter waiting for me and was I ever thrilled. I also got a letter from the folks Honey. Yours was July the first too darling so that was pretty good I thought. Gosh but it was a precious letter dearest and six big pages. Oh gee but it was wonderful honey and gave me the grandest feeling. Your letters mean so darn much to me dearest and they are so darn sweet. They make me so darn happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dearest. Gosh Honey I feel so darn happy and everything is so swell when I can get your sweet letters. You had received four letters from me the evening you wrote that to Honey and you was so darn happy. I sure felt wonderful to know that you were getting my mail Honey and sure hope you are getting it all right now. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well holly it has been another real hot day here. It rained about two hours here this evening so that cooled things off a little but very little. Sure hope you are having some nice weather at home now dear. Well Honey today was Sunday and I went to church this morning. Sure had a nice service and I really enjoyed it dearest. Worked the afternoon shift today Honey and we change shifts tomorrow so I guess I will go to work at six in the morning and that means getting up early. We have to get up about five when we work the morning shift. Boy Honey when I get back in your sweet arms I’m not going to get up until about noon for the first two weeks. Gosh honey everything will be so darn heavenly.
Honey dear you was telling me that you was off from Friday nite until Wednesday over the fourth of July holidays. Gosh Honey that was sure a nice little vacation and I am sure glad you got those days off. You really needed another rest Honey cause you have been working so darn hard around home all the cleaning and painting you have been doing. I sure hope you rested up now dear and didn’t work all the time you was off. You said you wasn’t dearest and I sure hope you didn’t now. You said you was going to do some sewing and straighten up some of your things while you were off too. Gosh honey you work at such a swell place and I am so darn nice to you dear and such a swell bunch of girls to work with.
Darling that was sure a wonderful dream that Peggy, you girl friend had. Honey I’ll say that’s the only dream you and I have been thinking of for the past two years. I sure hope her dream comes true before very long honey. You would be the happiest little girl in the world and I would be the happiest little guy in the world when that does happen dearest. Gee darling I dream about us all the time. I can see you so darn plain and everything is so real Honey. It sure is a letdown when I wake up and find its only a dream. Honey I’ll bet when we get back together and wake up in each others arms that we will still think we are dreaming for the first week or two. And then she dreamed that peace had been declared to. Gosh Honey that was sure a perfect dream and it will be one of the most wonderful days in our life when all that comes true. Dear I know that god hears our prayers and that he will answer them and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please keep that sweet little chin up now dearest and Honey you know I will to and I know everything will really turn out swell for us dearest.
Honey dear you was asking me if I would like to have a subscription to any kind of magazine. Well Honey I really enjoy the Readers Digest and the ones we get are about four or five months old. There is some of the fellows that have subscriptions and they get theirs pretty regular if we are at one place for any length of time. So darling if you want to you can subscribe it for me. I don’t think it runs to but for a year but if it does just forget about it Honey. Darling you can send me some candy any time you get around to it now. Gosh Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much. You are so darn wonderful to me in every way Honey.
I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way darling. Honey dear I am so darn lonesome for you and want to see you so darn bad. Gee darling it will be so darn wonderful when we are back in each others arms for good and can really start our life together. Honey I know our first embraces will sure be a long one and it will just be one after another then. My sweet little sugar, aren’t you dearest. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I am so darn proud of you dearest. You are so darn perfect in every way dearest and so darn pretty from head to foot. Honey dear I am still going to tickle those sweet little feet and kiss the back of my sweet little neck, yes I am now Honey. Please take good care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful. Yours are fine Honey miss you so darn much. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dearest.
Well dearest little wife I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now dearest.
