My
Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet angel, how is my darling
little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I
hope. You had better be darling. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I
am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. Gee darling your
sweet letters mean so darn much to me and they are so awful darn sweet and so
precious. They mean the world and all to me dearest and make me feel so darn
wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get
your sweet letters. Won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms
and won’t have to write letters any more dear. I sure
hope you are getting my letters all right now dear. Honey dear please don’t
worry when ever you don’t hear from me for quite a while sometimes. There might
be times when I won’t be able to write you for two or three weeks at a time
dear. You know I will always write you as often and as much as possible dear.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful awful
much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it
rained here a little this morning and it has stopped now and really hot. Boy it
sure does get hot here right after it rains. It sure will be wonderful when we
are out of these darn tropics and back in a swell climate. Well Honey I got my
guard over with and I am sure glad too. I sure do hate to pull guard over here,
it seems like the time will never go by. Ever day that goes by the time goes
slower and slower. I guess I work the afternoon shift today. Gee but it will be
a wonderful day when this thing is all over and I am back in your sweet arms
darling and we can forget all about this whole thing. We will be so darn happy
Honey and everything will be so heavenly.
Well I have a guy doing my laundry
now Honey and he really does a good job to. He charges me around two fifty a
month but it is sure worth it to get good clean clothes and not have to worry about doing laundry. Gee darling it will be so darn
swell when we can send our clothes out to the laundry together. Gosh Honey
won’t it be wonderful having our clothes in the same closets and same drawers.
We will be so darn happy dearest and everything will be so darn wonderful.
Honey dear I sure hope you don’t
have so much work now. Gee darling you have been working so darn hard and all
those orders still coming in to. Please don’t work to
hard now darling, gosh Honey you will make yourself sick working like that and
it has been so darn hot there too. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest
and take awful, awful wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Gee darling it
will be so wonderful when I get back and we get straightened out and you can
quit working. Gosh Honey you can take me to wok in the morning when you want
the car and then come and meet me at nite. Gee
darling won’t everything be swell when we are back
together and can really start our lives together. Gosh Honey we will be buying
everything together and sleeping together and everything we do in anyway will
be together. Gosh Honey won’t we be happy when we can do whatever we want to.
Honey dear you said you got you new
make up to be applied before your rouge and powder. You said it was darker than
your powder to Honey. Boy I’ll bet that is really nice Honey and really feels
swell to. Honey didn’t you have some of that once before I left home. Gee
darling you have so darn much pride and I am so proud of you dearest. Remember
how I always told you that I never wanted you to lose your pride dear. Honey
dear you always took such wonderful care of my sweet little body and always
looked so darn wonderful in your clothes dear. Gosh Honey you always picked
such nice looking clothes and then really knew how to wear them when you went
out. Gee darling you are such a perfect little wife in every way and I love you
so awful, awful much dear. Won’t it be swell when we
can pick out our clothes together and everything like that dear. Honey dear
remember we are going to go together and get us a complete new outfit from head
to toe and you are going to pick mine out and I am going to pick yours out. Yes
I am Honey, every piece from way down under to the outside I’ll betcha, how about it darling. I guess I will have to get
used to wearing some clothes when I get back in obligation Honey. I haven’t
worn any shirts and shorts since I got over here, about twenty months now and
usually in the daytime a pair of pants is all I wear, that is shoes and socks I
never have went without them. A lot of the guys run around when they are around
here in camp and don’t ever wear shoes. Gee darling won’t we have a wonderful
time, together all the time and doing whatever we want to. We sure have a lot
to catch up on to Honey and we are sure going to start making up some of this
lost time the first day I get back.
Sure hope Auntie is getting along
all right now dear. Be sure and tell her hello for me dear. Gee but she is a
swell person and I sure do like her Honey. Sure hope she stays with my little
wife a long time cause she is so much company for you
dear and helps you out so many ways.
You was
saying you saw Ruth and Bob and they were just coming back from the doctors
office and she was expecting right away. Boy those two kids are sure going to
have a family while they are young. I sure can’t understand two people like
that. Gosh Honey all their young years are going to be spent at home taking
care of the little ones and by the time the kids have grown up some they are
going to be a pretty good age themselves. I am sure glad we are like we are
honey and I sure think our ideas of married life and a family is perfect
darling.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You
are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest. We are so happily
married darling and love each other more every day. Honey dear you are so darn
sweet and the most precious and most adorable little wife in this world. You
are so wonderful darling and I love you so darn much and you know I always will
dearest.
Well sweet little angel I guess I
had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible dearest. I’ll be looking for your
sweet letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take
good care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy.
