My
Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping some
come in before the day is over. I received a letter from the folks yesterday
evening but that is all so maybe I will get some precious letters from you
today Honey. Gee darling your wonderful letters mean the world and all to me
and they are so darn sweet. They make me so happy dearest and make me feel so
wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling to get your
wonderful letters. It will be so darn swell when we are back in each others
arms and won’t have to write letters any more Honey. I sure hope you are
getting my letters all right now dearest. You are so darn sweet darling and I
love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way Honey. I have plenty of everything now
darling. Well it is the same old hot day here Honey. We have been having a fair
breeze here lately and that sure helps out to. Sure hoping you are having some
nice weather at home now dear. Well Honey my sunburn is sure burning today and
I expect it will be peeling off now in a few days and then I’ll have to get it
tanned all over again. Darling I sure hope you don’t have to much work now.
Gosh Honey you have been working so darn hard and with no let ups at all. Maybe
you will get caught up a little now since Mary is helping you. Today is
Saturday darling and it is about eight in the morning and I sure hope you are
still in bed resting. I know you would be if I was home dear. Gee darling it
will be so swell to sleep late in the mornings when we aren’t working. We can
do whatever shopping we want to do late Saturday morning or early in the
afternoon and then we can be ready to go out real early in the evening. Gee
darling it will be so wonderful to be together every minute and be able to do
whatever we want to whenever we want to.
Darling you was
telling me you got Bobby an airplane for his birthday and you was helping put
it together and cut your fingers with a razor blade. Gosh Honey I’ll bet that
really hurt to cause a cut with a razor sure does pain a person. It will probably
take that a long time to heal on your knuckle like that dear. And Honey you
said you burnt your fingers to. Gee darling you sure was mistreating those
sweet little hands. I sure hope they are all right by now. Please be awful,
awful careful now Honey and take good care of my darling little wife. You are
so darn sweet Honey and I love you so awful, awful darn much.
Honey you said in the last letters I
got from you that it was really cool at home. I’ll betcha
you wouldn’t of needed that heavy robe on if I had
been home dear. And darling you said you had on plenty underneath it to, and
what did that consist of darling? Gee darling you are so darn sweet and so
precious in every way. You will probably have quite a bit of warm weather this
month Honey but it usually don’t get to how. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful
when we are back together in our own little home and can do whatever we want
to. Just us Honey, no one to bother us in anyway. We will be so darn happy dear
and everything will be so heavenly.
Honey you never did say whether you was able to get the shoes like you wanted. I sure hope you
was able to get them dear cause I know you really
wanted them and you was really happy if you did get them. Gosh Honey I want you
to have anything you want, you know I do darling. Anytime you need anything or
see anything you want darling you know your husband wants you to get it. I
really love you Honey and I want you to be the happiest little wife in this
world. I sure am anxious to get those last pictures you took for me Honey. Gee darling
your sweet pictures mean so darn much to me. Won’t it be wonderful when I am
back in your sweet arms dear and can tell you in my own words how wonderful you
are and how wonderful you look in all your clothes.
Gosh Honey you always had so darn much pride and I know you always will
dearest. I am so proud of you Honey and love you so darn much. Honey dear how
about my big picture, you will send me one won’t you dearest. I sure hope you
took a picture for me in those new shorts to dearest, you had better darling.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You
are so sweet and so precious in every way Honey. Gosh Honey I am so darn
lonesome for you and want to see you so darn bad. This has been the longest two
years we will ever put in darling and two years that will always live in our
memory. Honey I don’t know what I would do if we wasn’t married. It means so
darn much to us Honey and there isn’t anything in this world that make two
people that really love each other any happier than marriage. We are so happily
married darling and love each other so darn much. I know God hears our prayers
and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now dearest. Honey
dear please take good care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful.

Won’t it be heavenly when they are back together dear.
You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I
love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.
Well sugar I guess I had better
close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking
for your sweet letters now honey bun. Please be awful, awful careful now
dearest and take good care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dearest, chin
up and always happy dolly. Tell all hello dear.
