My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. That was such a sweet one yesterday darling, just like all your wonderful letters are. Gee darling your sweet letters mean so darn much to me and they are so darn precious. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Darling I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. You are so darn sweet darling and I love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it is another hot day here the same as usual. It sure has been awful here the last day or so. Sure hope you are having some nice weather at home now dear. It is usually pretty rainy about this time of year but maybe it won’t be so bad this year. Well honey I worked the morning shift today so I am through for the day and have my shower taken and all. Boy Honey I sure do like my shower shoes. You can walk around in place in the shower and not get your feet all full of coral. If you don’t have a pair of the you sure have some time getting back onto the shower to your clothes without getting coral all over the bottom of your feet. That sticks on the fellows shoes and then when you walk on the concrete floor in the shower it falls off.
Honey dear do you know what day this is that I am writing you. Yes darling the twelfth day of September and our second anniversary. Gosh Honey it has been two of the happiest years we have ever known and we have had to be away from each other all the time to. It means so darn much to us to really know we belong to each other dear and we are so happily married darling. Gosh Honey wouldn’t it have been wonderful if we could of spent this two years together. It has been so darn hard on us darling but we will make up for all this when we get back in each others arms. Gosh Honey wasn’t we happy two years ago tonite. I was so anxious to get down to you darling and I sure didn’t waste anytime leaving camp that nite. Remember how we went down and got your corsage dear and then we went back to the house and you got dressed. Gosh Honey we were both so nervous and so darn happy that we would hardly repeat after the minister. Gee darling we had such a wonderful time that next day to. I betcha we didn’t have breakfast until about ten o’clock did we Honey. Boy Honey when we are back in each others arms we are really going to celebrate our anniversaries. Honey the first two months we are back together we will celebrate on the twelfth of each month to make up for these two we have missed how about it dear. Gee darling you are such a wonderful little wife and gosh honey I love you so darn much. You are so wonderful to me in every way dearest and always doing everything in your power for me dear. Gosh Honey there isn’t a man in this world that loves his wife anymore than I do you dear. You mean the world and all to me darling and I want to make you the happiest little wife on earth. I haven’t been able to do much to make you happy since we were married darling but when I get out of here dear you know I will do everything in my power to make you real happy and make you the best husband I know how. Gosh Honey what I wouldn’t give to be back with you now and be able to come home from work tonite with a nice present for you to really show you how much I love you darling. Then we could go out for supper tonite and then take in some kind of amusement and then come home to spend the night in each others arms dear. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful to talk over our marriage and be in each others arms all the time while we are doing it. Honey I am hoping and praying that we can spend our third anniversary together and I sure think we will to. I am sure hoping this whole thing will be over before then and I really believe it will dear. Gee darling everything is looking so wonderful on our second anniversary and I know God will end all this and bring us together as soon as possible now dear. Honey dear I only wish I could tell you in my own words how much I really love you and what a wonderful little wife you are dear. I know you know though Honey and when I get back in your sweet arms I can tell you in my own words just like I used to dear. Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful awful darn much.
Honey dear you was saying one of your last letters that Auntie had done a big washing and she wasn’t feeling a bit well. Gee darling I sure hope she is feeling better by now. Gosh Honey you said you done all that ironing that nite to. You had worked all day honey and then done all that ironing. Please don’t work so hard darling, take it easy honey and when you have something like that to do don’t do it all at once dear. Honey you said your tummy was hurting to. I sure hope it is all right by now dear but maybe it was just that time dear. Please take it easy now dear and don’t work to hard now.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way darling. Darling it is so wonderful when I can see your lip prints and it will be so wonderful when we can hug and kiss each other all we want to. Honey dear please take good care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful. Yours are fine dear miss you so darn much but our time is getting closer every day Honey. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so awful awful darn much and you know I always will dear.
Well sugar I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take good care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
