My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope . You had better be dearest. Well sug no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping there will be some late mail. Gee darling your wonderful letters mean so darn much to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so darn happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gee darling it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your precious letters. Honey I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. Won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more dear. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much Honey.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Gee but it has been hot today. Honey it is sure awful and a person just about burns up. Honey I will be so darn happy when I am back in your sweet arms and out of this darn climate. Sure hope you are having some swell weather now dear. Well Honey I worked the regular day shift today. We get off at three in the afternoon so that isn’t so bad. I am all through now dear and taken my shower and shaved and sitting here writing my adorable little wife. It would be so heavenly if I was back in your sweet arms now dear and had finished my days work and cleaned up and setting down to one of your wonderful meals dear. Then we could go out for the evening or speed it quietly at home in each others arms. Gosh darling it will be so darn wonderful when we can start our life together and be in each others arms every minute. We will be so happy darling, the happiest little couple in the world.

Darling you was saying that our bank account was eleven hundred and eighty dollars now without the rest. How much do we have with bonds and all now darling and figuring five hundred and ninety dollars in the Commercial National. Honey when I get back we are going to put all our account in one back and get us a safety deposit box to keep our bonds and all our papers don’t you think that would be a good idea Honey. We could put all our money on interest to until we get ready to use it. We should have about six hundred in the Commercial national honey when I come to think about it cause that interest will amount to at least that ten dollars extra. Gee darling you have done so darn swell and I am so darn proud of you dearest. Boy it will all sure come in handy when we start out our home to dear. When I get back on the job we will be able to save more to honey and we will have out little house all paid for in a short while. It will cost us a thousand dollars or more for a new car Honey and then I expect about four thousand for our home, maybe not that much. I don’t know just what places are selling for now. And then our furniture to Honey. It will all cost us a good little sum dear but we will have it all paid for in no time dear. We are going to find out about that loan for service men to Honey. The first year doesn’t it cost any interest and then if you need a second loan after you get the first one you can get it to and you have twenty years to pay it in if you want that much time. I don’t think the interest rate will be near so high as they would be if you borrowed from a bank either Honey. We will find out all about everything when we get back together Honey and get settled down. We are going to get all fixed up as soon as we can dear cause as soon as we get our own home we can say enough on rent to almost make a double payment on our own dear. Darling won’t it all be heavenly to have our own home and all to know that it is ours and we did it all by ourselves and had help from no one. Darling we will have so darn much fun doing everything and we will be so darn happy. Honey have you ever thought about where we might like to have our own home. We want to get in some kind of an addition don’t you think dear. The homes are all new when you get in those.

Honey I sure hope you have been able to get up home lately. I know you get up as often as possible dear. Mother said that dad was going down to try and get some tires and I sure hope he has some luck Honey cause then you can go up home and be able to use the car. I know those old tires are really getting thin cause they wasn’t any good when I left home. I wrote two or three letters home and told them to take some time and see if they couldn’t get some so I guess they did. Jude was going with Dad so maybe they had some luck.

Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn precious and so sweet in every way darling. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Darling I’ll bet our first embrace will be one never equaled before in our life. Gosh Honey it will be so heavenly to press our lips together and squeeze each other so darn tight. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible dear. I ask him for help every day and nite Honey and I know you do to darling. Darling I am still going to tickle those sweet little feet and kiss that sweet little neck. Yes I am now Honey, just like I used to, remember dearest. Darling you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.

Well sugar I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now darling and take good care of my little angel. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy.  Tell all hello dear.

Love and more love is all I can say dear.

Loads and loads of love to my dearest darling wife I love so darn much.
