My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I got two of the most precious letters tonite and I was so darn thrilled to get them dearest. The mail has sure been coming in good this past few days and I sure hope it continues on now. Yours was March thirteenth and thirty first dear so that was sure good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling all over when I get your precious letters. Gosh darling you hadn’t received any mail from me for a week. Gee darling I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. I know how you feel when you don’t hear from me darling cause I sure feel awful when I don’t get my little Honeys letters. You are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it has been a real nice day here, awful hot though. Boy it sure is hot working in the day time. It is much cooler at nite but then you can’t get much sleep that is restful sleep. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. You said in your letter today that it was really nice Honey and that the trees were in bloom. Gee honey we would be having so much fun if we was together now. We always enjoyed spring so much dearest and we will be enjoying it together next year Honey. We will really enjoy every season when we get back in each others arms dearest. Gosh darling we will be so darn happy and everything will be so heavenly.
Gee darling you said you had received the proof of your pictures. Gee but I will be happy to get my sweet little wife’s picture. I want one so darn bad dearest. Honey you said you didn’t like any of them very much, I’ll bet they are really swell dearest and gee darling I will be so darn happy to get my precious pictures. Honey you know the one of you in your slacks that you had enlarged, I have it right on my locker where I can look at my precious little Honey all the time. I look at all my precious pictures all the time dearest and they mean so awful darn much to me. I sure do hope you had some taken for me on Easter Sunday dearest. Just got to see my precious baby in your new Easter outfit darling. Honey I am sure glad you decided to have me a print made off of these proofs cause like you said dolly it will take so long to get more proofs made. Gee darling your precious letters and wonderful pictures mean so awful, awful much to me.
Darling you said in your letter today that you had just finished coloring some Easter eggs and you had my name on one of them. You are so darn sweet darling and I love you so awful darn much. Won’t it be wonderful when we are in each others arms dearest and can do everything together. We will have so much fun on all the holidays dearest, just like we did when we was going together only it will be so much more wonderful now dearest that we are married and can be together every minute of our time and not have to leave each other for one minute. Gosh Honey it was always so awful hard for us to leave each other. Remember how we used to sit in the driveway and when you would get ready to go in I would hold you tight in my arms and wouldn’t let you go. My little Honey didn’t want to go in either, did you dearest. Then when I would walk up to the house with you we used to stand there in each others arms for so long, gee but it hurt us to have to leave each other dearest. Now darling we are married and when we come in from somewhere we will go in our little home and help each other get ready for bed and then to sleep all nite in each others arms and wake each other every morning with a big kiss. Gee darling we will be so awful darn happy and everything will be so wonderful.
Honey you was telling me in your last letters about your robe sets. I certainly do remember hat wine colored set dearest. I never will forget that day we was up in your room dearest and you showed me all your things and we, yes we did Honey. That sure is a pretty set all right dear and I am sure glad you have the slippers to match it now. Honey you are going to bring it with you when you meet me. Honey I know you had said something about Maxine having you a black gown but I didn’t know whether you had ever received it or not. I am sure glad you got this new one dear cause it is just what you wanted dear and I know it is just what I wanted my little Honey to be wearing to. Gee darling I know your gown is so beautiful and I am so awful happy you got it dear and have it all ready for our meeting. Gee darling you said your slippers were light blue satin, gosh but they must be pretty dearest. Honey you said the gown was just like not having any, how long after our first embrace before that is right dearest. Yes darling you can have your robe on when you meet me at the door but just for the first embrace dearest, right Honey and then your beautiful gown only, after the first embrace and then in a few minutes yes, yes darling. Sure we will be able to do two things at once when we get in each others arms dearest. We have so much to talk about darling and so many other things to catch up on that we have been missing out on for the past two and a half years. Honey tomorrow starts our twenty eighth month that I have been over seas and it is going on thirty one months now since we last saw each other, gee what a long time dearest. We know that the worst of our waiting is over dearest and that in the near future we will be in each others arms. Gosh Honey we have our meeting all planned so perfectly and it will all be so heavenly. Darling we will have to pinch each other for the first few hours to make ourselves believe it is all true.
Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more ever day. It will be so awful wonderful when we can hold each other so awful tight dear and kiss each other so often. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in the world dearest and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful now dolly and take wonderful care of my sweet little dolly. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello now dearest.
