Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dolly. Gee darling I got another sweet letter from you today and I was so
darn thrilled to get it darling. It was so darn sweet and precious dearest,
just like all your precious letters are. Gosh Honey your precious letters mean
so awful darn much to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful darn
happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it gives me
the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Sure do
hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Gosh Honey won’t it be
wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters
any more. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now
darling. Well Honey it is another hot day here. Been trying
to rain this afternoon but no luck so far. Boy it is sure dry and dusty
and really has been hot here lately. Sure hope you are having some nice weather
now darling and sure hope that cold spell didn’t last to long. Went to church
this morning dearest and sure enjoyed it. We have services at eleven in the
morning now, right after we get off duty on Sunday and it is sure a lot better
than having them at two in the afternoon. Sure hope you got to go to church
today dearest. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each
others arms and can go to church together every Sunday. Sure hope you haven’t
had any more trouble with your side dearest. Please be awful, awful careful
dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. You be sure and see
the doctor about your side if it bothers you any more now darling. Sure hope
your work isn’t to heavy now dearest. Sure hope you
get your vacation in May now darling cause you need
the rest so darn bad. I think that is sure a nice time of the year to take it
to darling.
Gee darling I am sure glad you got
to go to sunrise services on Easter and then up to Helen Huffs and then up home
for breakfast just like you had planned. Sure glad it was a nice day. The folks sure was glad you got up to dearest and sure thought
my little Honey looked wonderful. I’ll bet Helen Huff sure like all your things
to didn’t she dear. I know you looked so awful
wonderful dear, just like you always do. You are so darn sweet and precious
dearest and I love you so darn much and so proud of you darling. It would have
been so wonderful if I could have been there with you dearest and honey we will
be together next year. Won’t it be heavenly when we can go with each other to
get our clothes dear and can dress for each other. Gee
but I hope my pictures turn out dear, just got to see my little darling and
your new outfit dearest. I am sure going to be looking in all my letters for my
wonderful pictures now dearest. Gosh Honey they are so darn sweet and mean so
awful darn much to me. I’ll have you in my arms looking at you one of these
days dearest and we won’t need any pictures then. Gee darling won’t it be
heavenly to be able to look into each others eyes again and be able to talk to
each other and kiss each other and all like that, we will be so happy dearest.
Honey Dad sure was happy to get the
shirt and handkerchiefs you got him. Mother said he sure did like them and was
sure proud of them. They sure was happy to get the deed all fixed up to
darling. You are so sweet to help them with everything dearest and always get
them sure nice things. Gosh Honey you are the most wonderful little wife in
this world and I am so darn proud of you dearest and love you so awful darn
much. It makes me feel so swell and makes the folks so happy when you go up to
see them dearest and Honey I know you go as often as you can. Gosh Honey won’t
it be wonderful when we are in each others arms and can go to visit all our
folks and friends together and can go whenever we want to. Just like you said
in one of your letters dearest, when we get together it will be the first time
any of our folks and friends has ever seen us as man and wife and gee how
wonderful it will be dearest. It will be so awful wonderful to be able to spend
every minute of our time
together dearest and not have to leave each other a minute for
anything. Gee but we will be happy darling and everything will be so wonderful.
Gee darling I received my other lock
of hair in my letter today and gee but I was happy to get it dearest. You know
Honey this is what I asked for, the last lock you sent me. Gee but it is
wonderful dearest, so awful soft and gosh Honey what a wonderful feeling it
gives me. Yes darling a feeling just like if I was there touching it and you
know what everything would be like if I was dearest. I sure do remember when we
cut it dear and it wasn’t very long when we was in
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. You are
so darn sweet and so precious dearest. Gee darling if will be so heavenly to
hold you so close to me and kiss you so often. I’ll bet we don’t let go of each
other for a long time after we first get together dearest. Honey I know God
hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as
possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but
they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and
most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you so awful darn much
and you know I always will dearest.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful,
awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife.
