My
Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dolly. Well sug no sweet letters so far today but
I am sure hoping some comes in before the day is over. Gosh Honey been about
three or four days now since I had any sweet letters. Sure hope the mail starts
coming in good now. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to
me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and
make me feel so wonderful all over. Just gives me the grandest feeling all over
when I get your precious letters dear. I sure hope you are getting my mail all
right now dearest.
I am feeling fine now dolly and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now
dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, awful hot though. Rained here a little this morning but nothing to amount to
anything. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well
Honey I am pretty well over my cold now and it is sure a relief to. I thought
it would get me down there for a few days but I finally wore it out. Well tonite is the last nite shift for
another week dear.
Well Honey you was telling me that
you had a lot of our things out to air the other day and had your robes out to.
Gee darling I will be so glad when I can see all the swell things we have. Sure
hope you can find a box like you want dear to put some of your things in. You
want to be sure and put moth balls in it dear and fix it so nothing will get
into it and ruin anything. Gosh Honey it will be so darn swell when we have our
little home and can have all our things in use or put away in our closets and
storage space. I was looking at a book the other day Honey and it was showing a
new storage space system built right in just like built in cabinets. Sure did
look nice and we are going to look into such as that on our home dearest. Gosh
honey it will be so swell when we decide where we want our home and get the
plan of our home and all like that. We would have had all that finished and
started on our home if this thing hadn’t come up dear. I am so proud of what we
have to start on when this is all over dear. You are such a thrifty little wife
dear and have saved us so awful much, gee but I am proud of you darling. Gee
darling everything will be so heavenly and we will be so awful happy when this
is all over and we are back in each others arms for good.
Honey I sure do think that is a
beautiful card you sent me and everyone else sure does to. I have showed it to
everyone and they sure think it is swell. It has such
a pretty verse dear and is so perfect in every way. I sure hope it isn’t very
long before we can match the two hearts together dearest. We will do that on
our first nite together dear, how about it Honey, a little ceremony in our own way.
Sure hope this finds you feeling
well and everything going along all right in every way at home now dear. Sure
hope you aren’t working to hard now darling. Please take it easy now dearest
and don’t work to hard now. Well Honey if you get your vacation the first of
May you ought to be starting on it by the time you get this. I sure do hope you
get it when you want it now dear cause honey you sure need the rest. Darling if
you don’t feel like going back after your two weeks is up take another week to.
And darling I sure hope you take your trip if you want to, of course that is
all up to you dearest. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we can go on our
vacation together every year. I have sure had a lot of invitations from all
over the country to come and spend a vacation dear. We could go out honey and
spend a day or so somewhere where some of my buddies live and really get to see
a lot of different things and get a lot of good fishing and hunting to dear.
Then honey we could go on if we wanted to and do whatever we wanted to or if we
want to spend all our vacation to ourselves we can do that darling, just
whatever we want to do. I sure do hope we can go fishing out in
Honey here is a money order I cashed
for one of the boys cause he couldn’t get it cashed on
this island. I think it is fixed all right so you can sign your name or my name
and get it cashed, I don’t know just how they work. If it isn’t fixed up right
you can send it back and I will try to get it fixed right dearest.
Honey you are so darn sweet and I
love you so awful darn much. You are so sweet and so precious in every way
dolly. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every
day. Isn’t it wonderful to know we really belong to each other dearest. Gosh Honey I am going to hold you so awful darn
tight and kiss you so often. I know God hears our prayers dear and will keep us
safe and bring us together as soon as possible dearest. Please take wonderful
care of my precious parts dear, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so
darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and
most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you so darn much and
you know I always will dear.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters dolly. Please be awful, awful
careful dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now
dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello
dearest.
