My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dearest no sweet letters today but I am sure hoping tomorrow brings some. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey your precious letters give me the most grandest feeling. Gee darling I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well honey it has been a pretty nice day here but gee it has been hot. Sure was awful today and I sure did perspire. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well Honey I am on the day shift this week and it sure is good to get a good nites sleep. I sure did sleep last nite, first nite I have got in bed before one thirty or two o’clock since last weekend. Gee darling it will be so darn wonderful when we are in each others arms and can work a regular day and come home to be in each others arms until we part for work the next morning. Gosh Honey we will be so darn happy and everything will be so wonderful.
Gee darling I sure hope my next letters bring me some sweet pictures. Gosh Honey I hope so much that your pictures you took Easter turned out all right. Dear if they didn’t will you take some more for me. I sure hope they turned out all right dear cause if they did I should receive them now right away. You should be getting my big picture now right away to Honey and I sure hope it doesn’t take to long to get to me. Gee darling your precious pictures mean so awful darn much to me and I look at all my pictures so often dear. Gosh Honey won’t it be heavenly when we are back in each others arms and can look into each others eyes in person.
Honey you said you was making a list of everything that you was going to bring with you and as soon as you thought of more you would send me a list. Yes Honey when you get a list all made out you can send me one and I’ll see if I can think of anything we have forgot and as we do think of other things, if there is any we have missed we can add it to our list dearest. Honey I certainly do remember those we got at the depot. You be sure and bring those two with you dear and I’ll try and bring some more just in case those aren’t any good. They are pretty old now. Sure hope it isn’t very long before we can test them dear. Darling you said you was going to have everything like that you could get, as we’re going to try everything. Boy Honey how right you are, we sure are going to try everything. It will be the first time we have really been able to do things like we want to darling and be where we can do it. Honey you be sure and be thinking about new ideas along that line now and I sure am to dearest and we will sure put them every one to the test when we get together. Yours surely is lonesome dearest and what I wouldn’t give to have some now. Honey dear we can’t really imagine how wonderful it will all be. They first time we have ever been able to be right together twenty four hours a day and not have to leave each other after spending a few hours together like we did when we was in Texas dear. We will be all to our selves and be bothered by no one and won’t have to leave our room unless we want to. Honey dear can you get the other part of our outfit that we need besides the part you found out about. I think that is easy to get but didn’t know for sure dear. We want to be sure and have plenty of it to dear. You said you put your robe and gown in your suitcase the other day. Gosh Honey I am so happy you have your beautiful set and will be so happy when I open the door and hold you in my arms in it dear. Boy Honey I’ll bet our furlough sure will set a new record for us, how about it dear. We will be just like the bees almost constantly darling, right Honey. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. I’m not letting you out of my sight a minute dear, no sir honey not for a second. Whenever you are dearest there I’ll be to, gee won’t it be heavenly dearest.
Sure hope this finds you feeling swell now dear and everything going along all right in every way at home now. Sure hope you aren’t working to hard now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife and don’t work to hard now dearest. Sure hope you are on or ready to start on your furlough, or rather vacation dear, by the time you get this. I want you to get plenty of good rest now darling and don’t be working any while you are home cause you aren’t supposed to do any work on your vacation dear.
Well Honey the war is sure going good on the other side now and I don’t see how the Germans can last much longer. They are whipped now but they have to clean out a lot of them they have encircled. There will be a guerrilla warfare there for some time but it won’t amount to anything. I sure do hope it doesn’t take long to clean out these Japs now. They are sure bombing them now.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey isn’t it wonderful to be married and really belong to each other. Gee darling you are the most perfect little wife in this world and I am so darn proud of you dear. Gosh Honey it will be so awful heavenly to have your sweet lips pressed against mine and our arms so tight around each other. Our first embrace will be one we will never forget dear and I’ll bet it will be one of the longest we ever had darling. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts. Gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dolly. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly.
