            Dear Thomas well here I am again and how is the finger? I sure do hope better. And how are you and the cool? I hope better and what do you hear about coming home now. Or do they tell you any thing about it. Are you in Tokyo now. I seen where the engineers were going in to Tokyo. I seen that in the paper so I just wonder if you were one of them. Well no mail today but maybe we get some now in a day or two. Well I was just up to Becky’s and Vera is up there and she asked all about you and said to tell your fellow for her. She sure is nice. Well the weather has got hot here again but I don’t think it stay hot long at a time long. For August is all most gone now. Well Dad is still oiling roads yet so maybe they get them up in safe so they won’t have such a bad time this winter. Not much news but I sure do hope you alright and I hope you alright. And I hope you have got some mail to. Well I close for tonite and I write you tomorrow nite so answer as soon as possible, mother and dad.
