Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dolly. Gee darling I received the three sweetest letters from you today and
I was so darn thrilled to get them Honey. They were so darn sweet and precious
dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. It has been so long since I got
any sweet letters dear, gee but I feel so wonderful now dear. Your letters were
April the twenty fourth and twenty seventh and May the first. I also got one
from the folks dear. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all
to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest
and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest
feeling all over when I can get your precious letters, just makes a different
person out of me in every way dear. Honey you had received a letter from me the
first day of your vacation and I was so glad to know that dear. Honey you are
so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now
dearest. Well Honey it is a nice day here but it sure is hot. It has cooled off
a little now and looks as though it might rain but I sure hope it don’t. Sure hope you are having some nice weather at home
now dearest. You sure have had a late spring this year but I’ll bet when it
does turn hot that it usually gets hot.
Honey dear you can send me some more
shampoo now the first chance you get and you had better drop some hair oil in
the box dear cause we haven’t been able to get any in the post exchange for so
long that hardly anyone has any so I give some of the fellows some sometimes.
Gee darling you are so darn wonderful to me and always do everything in your
power for me.
Gee darling I was sure surprised to
hear about Ruth, the first I had ever heard anything about it. When is it
supposed to happen dear, must be pretty quick though cause
you said that
Well dear you was
telling me about going shopping, you and Ruth, the first day of your vacation.
I’ll bet it really felt swell to be free dear and be able to do the things you
wanted to downtown and know that you didn’t have to get up the next morning
until you wanted to. Honey you said you got a five dollar dress for one eighty
eight. That sure was a reduced price and I sure do hope you like it dear and I
know it is pretty to. I’ll bet that table cloth is pretty dear and that sure
was cheap for one. Gee darling I never realized that such things as bath towels
were hard to get. I guess I just about everything is
hard to get now days. I sure hope you have all nice weather for your vacation
now dear so you can go shopping when ever you want to and do the things you
wanted to do while you was off. Honey you have gotten us so many nice things
for our home and gee but I will be glad when I can see them all. Honey did you
ever get you a box to put come of your things in like you once talked about. I
sure hope you did dear and Honey you want to be sure and keep plenty of moth
balls around in your things.
Honey you was telling me about doing
your washing and ironing and your household duties and how happy you would be
when we get our little home. Gosh darling I can’t hardly
wait until this thing is all over and we can really start our life together. It
will be so wonderful when we can get our little home all finished and get
straightened out dear. We will have everything fixed up so cute dear and have
such a nice yard and all like that dear. Gee darling we will be so darn happy
doing everything together. Just think Honey everything we do around our little
home we will do together and we will have so darn much fun dear. We will have a
nice start in life when this is all over dear and we will have our little home
and all paid for in a short time. We are both saving everything we can Honey
and it sure will come in handy when we start our new home. We are going to rent
us an apartment at first dear and look around and see what we really want and
where we want our home and all like that dear. We want to have everything just
like we want it Honey and all the time we are deciding on everything we will be
saving to. Gosh Honey we will be so darn happy doing everything together and
being right together every minute of our time. Gee darling you will kiss me
good bye each morning and all day you will be working around home and thinking
about what we will do that evening or you will be downtown shopping or
something like that and then you will meet me at the door at nite and we will be in each others arms then until I leave
for work the next day, gee but it will be heavenly dear and we will be so awful
happy.
Honey dear you wrote me today in
answer to my letter about smoking and I was sure glad to get it dear. You are
so awful darn sweet and precious dear. Yes Honey I will bring some with me now
and when ever we take a notion for something we will have them. We are going to
try everything dear and do whatever we want to. No Honey that habit never did appeal to us. We are just exceptions I guess dear
by being able to use them and not get the habit. I sure don’t see how some
people smoke all the time. Just like you was telling
me about some of the girls there at the office dear, there is guys here in this
army that have the worst habit I ever saw. I have seen a lot of them light one
cigarette right after another. Honey dear every few weeks we think of some
little something we might want for our meeting and darling we are both going to
keep thinking real hard now and let each other know of anything we think of
that we might want. Gee darling we have everything planned so perfect and we
will be so awful darn happy.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. We are so
happily married dearest and love each other more every day. Gee darling it is
so wonderful to see your sweet little lip prints on my letters. Won’t it be
heavenly when we can hold each other so tight and kiss each other so often dearest. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts
dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so awful darn much. Yours
are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much. You are
the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you
so awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful,
awful careful now dolly and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife.
