My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping some comes in right away now. Gosh Honey your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Just makes a different person out of me in every way dearest. Gosh Honey I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. You should be getting my mail pretty good by now dearest. Gee darling you are so darn perfect and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling pretty good now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dolly. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, plenty hot though. I sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well Honey I still don’t feel very well. I have been blowing my nose just about constantly it seems. I sure do hope I get over it right away now. I think I get real hot while I am working and then when I stop for a few minutes I cool off to quick. Well I am still on the nite shift dear, have five more nites and then I will be on days again. I sure will be glad when I am on days again too.

Well darling I am in Manila. I suppose you have already had a good idea where I was. Its quite a place and everything is sure nice where it isn’t all tore up from the war. Gosh Honey I sure wish you could see some of the different customs and different ways of doing things. I sure hope it isn’t so far off when I can hold you so tight in my arms and tell you about all the different places I have been and all like that. Gee darling I sure do wish I could hear something straight on this point system. I think we are to have a lecture tonite, don’t know just what it will be as yet. I will be working but will find out everything from the guys that are here. Gee darling I want to get back in your precious arms so darn bad I don’t know what to do. It will be twenty nine months now in a few days since I left the states dear and about thirty two since I left your precious arms darling. Gosh Honey it has all been so hard on us but we are sure going to start making up for all this lost time as soon as we get back in each others arms. We have everything planned so perfect dearest and we will be so awful, awful happy when our time does come.

Honey I would like for you to send me some film now the first chance you get. I sure do hope the pictures you took for me in your new furs turned out swell dearest cause I just got to see my darling in her new furs. Dearest please take some pictures for me now when ever you can. They mean so awful, awful darn much to me dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. I sure am anxious to get my big picture darling and I sure hope it isn’t very long before it gets here.

Honey you said you read where they had a bill up now trying to make it so that a service man would get a hundred and fifty dollar clothes order when he was discharged. Boy I sure would like to see that pass. I think they should have something like that cause a guy is going to have to have everything new when he gets out of here and that is sure going to take a nice little sum of money. Maybe something will come of it. I sure hope so anyway.

Honey you said you had me two pair of shower shows on the way. I sure do hope they get here right away cause I sure do miss not having any. They sure are nice cause they keep your feet off the floor and you don’t get them dirty while you are getting into your shoes. There is so darn much athletes foot to and such as that. Honey you said you sent me a bottle of Fitch hair tonic too. I sure do wish I could get some of my packages. You have so many nice things on the way to me dearest, Gee darling you are so awful wonderful to me, always sending me so many swell things and doing everything in your power for me. Gee but I am proud of you dearest and you are so wonderful in every way.

Honey dear you are so awful, awful darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to be married and to really own each other. It means everything to us dolly and we sure wouldn’t be as happy as we are now if we were not married. Honey dear won’t it be heavenly to hold each other so tight and kiss each other so often. I know God hears our prayers dearest and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now darling. Remember now dolly, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dearest.
