My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you tonite and I was so thrilled to get it dearest. It was so
darn sweet and precious dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. Gee
darling your precious letters mean so awful darn much to me and they are so
darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful
all over. Gee darling it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can
get your precious letters. You had received four letters from me in this letter
today dear and gee I was so glad to hear that honey. I sure hope you are
getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love
you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear.
Well Honey it has been a pretty nice day here, awful hot though. Sure hope you
are having some nice weather now dear. It is almost the first of July now dear
so you should be having some nice weather. I’ll bet you will really have some
hot weather when it does turn nice dear. You have sure had a late season this
year dear. Gee darling no matter what kind of a season it is we will really
enjoy it when we get in each others arms. We will be so darn happy darling and
have so awful much fun.
Honey dear you said you was feeling
much better in your letter today and gee but I was glad to hear that dear. Sure
you needed a seat dear. Gosh Honey you have been working so darn hard and I
sure hope you didn’t go back to work until you was
feeling tops once again dear. You said you could talk pretty good but you was still coughing quite a bit dear. Honey dear I sure hope
you never get that way again to cause I know you
really feel awful dearest. Please take it easy now dearest and take wonderful
care of my sweet little wife now. Darling whenever you get to feeling a little
bad I want you to stay home and rest and take it easy cause
I want my little dolly feeling wonderful all the time.
Honey you was telling me that Norma
had called you twice but you could hardly talk to her the first time. That was
sure a swell opportunity that Norma’s old boss offered her but I sure don’t
blame her for working now. Gee darling I will be so awful darn happy when we
get straightened out and you can quit working. You have worked so darn hard for
us dear and saved us so much. We are both thrifty dear and that sure means a
lot to a couple. I’ll bet you don’t think I am very thrifty now dear but honey
I have been away from civilization so darn long that it sure is swell to be
able to go out and have a meal or go to a real theatre or something like that
once again. If I was home dear I could do everything I do on ten dollars a
month but things are just so darn high here that you have to watch your step or
you won’t have enough money from one pay day to the next. This is the only
place we will ever hit over here where there is anything and I expect we will
be out of here before long and back in the jungles once again. There is always three or four of us guys go together. Boy Honey it
will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your precious arms and we can
really go out and really enjoy ourselves once again. We will never really be
able to enjoy ourselves dear until we are back in each others arms cause nothing is complete without each other. Boy Honey we
are sure going to celebrate when we get back in each others arms to and forget
about all this we have gone through in the past three years. Surely something
will turn up so we will be in each others arms before so very long dear. They
will surely start getting us home before so very long cause they sure ought to
have plenty of men now with the war on the other side over.
Honey dear you was
telling me you got us a real nice chest for all our things. You said it was on
wheels to dear and plenty of room for all our things. Gosh Honey I am sure glad
you got something like that cause we sure needed something to keep things in.
Gee darling it will be so darn wonderful when I can see all our swell things.
You have made and bought us so many nice things dearest and gee but I am proud
of you dear. Everything will sure come in handy when we get started
housekeeping to dear.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. Gee darling
we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey dear you
are such a perfect little wife, so wonderful in every way and all my very own.
Dearest it will be so darn swell when I can hold you so awful close to me and
kiss you so often. I’ll never let go of you dear and darling I am going to just
kiss and kiss you. I am going to tickle those sweet little feet to dear, yes I
am now darling. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe
and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my
precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn
much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful, awful
much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and
I love you so darn much and you know I always will Honey.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be
awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little
