My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you yesterday evening after I had written you and I received the sweetest one tonite to dear. They were so darn sweet and precious dear just like all your wonderful letters are dear. They were the first and second of July dear so that was sure good time. I also received two from the folks to dear. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Honey dear you sure haven’t been getting my mail very good but I sure hope you are getting it all right now dear. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it has been a pretty nice day here, rained this evening around five the same as usual. Boy you have sure been having some storms at home dear. Gosh Honey I sure do hope the weather straightens out now and gets nice. You sure have had some awful seasons dear. Well Honey I am on the day shift now, had a pretty rough day today but now much harder than usual. Boy that sure is a lot of hours to put in. We leave camp or rather get up at a quarter of five in the morning and don’t get until four thirty or a quarter of five in the evening. They come around and wake us and we go right and eat breakfast and then right on out to the job.

Gee darling the letter I received last nite had two precious pictures in it and gee but I was glad to get them dearest. They were the ones with your new furs on dear and gee they are wonderful darling. Boy Honey they are sure swell pictures and you look so awful wonderful dearest, just like you always do darling. Gee darling those are sure swell looking furs and look so swell on you dear. Gosh Honey I am so darn glad you got them cause I know you really like them dear. They sure look swell with either the light or darn suit to dear. The fellows sure thought they were swell to dear. Gosh Honey just as soon as I get a precious picture I show everyone around. I am so awful, awful proud of you dearest and love you so awful, awful much dear. Gee but you look wonderful dearest. I was just sitting here looking at the pictures dear and thinking how wonderful it would be if I could be the one that was taking the pictures dear. Gee darling we will be so awful darn happy when this darn thing is all over and we can be in each others arms for good. Honey you said you had another picture you would put in my next letter and gee but I am anxious to get it dear. Boy Honey my large picture is so awful precious and I am so awful proud of it. I sure am proud of these I got today to Honey just like I am of all my little Honey’s pictures and gee but I like your furs dear. Honey you are so darn sweet to take me pictures and do everything for me like you do. I love you so darn much darling and Honey you know I always will.

Well darling in my letter tonite you said you hadn’t quite yet, that you didn’t know just exactly what to do. You said you had to give them so much notice before you quit to or you couldn’t get a release. I guess they keep a pretty close check on all the jobs now during the war. Honey dear I sure hope you get straightened out right away now cause I know you sure don’t like to go to work and don’t get no enjoyment out of your work at all when you are working under conditions like that. Boy it sure does look like some of the big shots would wise up around there ad give that boss a little going over but a guy like that can always get by with anything. Darling what ever you do now I sure don’t want you to take one off either him or her cause you don’t have to darling. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and you can quit working and just be a little house wife. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly when we have our little home and can have our little family and all. We will be so darn happy dearest and everything will be so wonderful.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. Gee darling isn’t is wonderful to be married and really own each other. I know that there isn’t or never will be a happier married couple than us dear. Gee darling you are such a perfect little wife in every way and so awful pretty from the tops of my beautiful blonde hair to the tips of my sweet little toes and gee all mine dearest. Honey dear won’t it be heavenly to be able to hold each other so awful tight and kiss each other so often. Remember how we used to sit in the driveway before we would go in at nite dear, gosh Honey we just couldn’t leave each other for the longest time. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful dolly and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear, miss you so awful darn much. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
