My
Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dolly. Well Honey no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that
some comes in before the day is over. Gee darling your precious letters mean
the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful,
awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it just
gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. I
sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Gosh Honey won’t it be
wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters
any more. You are so darn sweet dolly and I love you so awful darn much and you
know I always will dear.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now
dolly. Well Honey it is still awful windy here today but that wind keeps it
from being so awful hot. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now
dearest. Gosh Honey it will be so awful wonderful when I am back in your
precious arms and we can really start our life together. We would be so darn
happy and be having so much fun if we was together now
dear. We are sure going on a lot of trips and outings when I get home dear. We
both like the out of doors so much dear and we are sure going to spend a lot of
our time outside. Honey dear I sure hope you got rid of those chiggers you got while
you were fishing. Sure wish I would have been there to doctor you up Honey.
That’s all I would of done Honey just doctored the
bites and well maybe a little more, yes yes darling.
Sure hope this finds you feeling
swell and everything going along all right in every way at home now dear. Honey
please take it easy now and don’t work to hard now darling. Honey I am sure
glad you took the day off the day that Roy and Maxine left. Sure wish you could
take a few days off every once in a while dear and
kind of rest up. Dearest I will be so darn happy when I am back on the job and
you can quit working. I sure do hope you don’t have to much work now dolly.
Honey dear I am so darn lonesome for
you and want to see you so darn bad I don’t know what to do. Here it is going
on thirty five months since I last saw you dearest and gee what an awful long
time that has been. Surely something will come up before long so we can be back
in each others arms dear. It sure looks to me like they could get a guy home
after so long a time with as many men as they have now. You keep that sweet
little chin up now dearest and Honey you know I will to and I know everything
will turn out swell in every way for us. Boy Honey when our time does come we
are really going to celebrate and what I mean really celebrate to. Honey if I
don’t get home before I am discharged we will have our meeting and spend our
week in our room and then we will spend a week or so around home and then we
will go on our honeymoon. Gee darling we will be so darn happy and everything will
be so wonderful. Honey we have everything planned so perfect and we will enjoy
ourselves so darn much. Honey I am sure glad you have all your swell robes and
gowns and have mine now to. That’s all we will need while we are in our room
dear and I’ll bet they are on the hanger most of the time. I just think all the
time about our meeting dear and how heavenly it will all be. We can’t begin to
imagine the wonderful feeling that we will have when we open the door into each
others arms dolly. We will be so awful close together dear and then in a very
few minutes we will be as close together as possible. Darling I am hoping and
praying so much that we can be back in each others arms some time this year and
be able to stay in each others arms and never have to leave each other again.
Honey you was saying that Auntie was
talking something about coming and spending some time with you again. It would
sure be swell for you darling cause she is so much help to you and so much
company for you. Boy Honey I am sure glad you got away from that other place
and got the house you have now. I was sure afraid for you to stay there at that
other place by yourself. It was so darn hard for you to take care of dear cause
it was so big to. Gee darling I will be so happy when I am out of this thing
and we can start our little home and get everything fixed up like we want it.
We will have so much fun doing everything together dear.
Darling you are so darn sweet and I
love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. We are so
happily married dearest and love each other more every day. Gee darling won’t
it be heavenly when we can hold each other so tight and kiss each other so
often. Remember how we used to do when we would come in and sit in the driveway
dear. You would hold me a little while and then I would hole you and now
darling we will be able to do that all the time. It was so darn hard for us to
have to leave each other dear and now we won’t have to leave each other, gosh
Honey just think how heavenly that will be. Darling you are the most precious
and most perfect little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you
know I always will dear. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious
parts now, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so awful darn much. Yours
are fine dearest, miss you so darn much but they will be back together before
very long to. Honey you are so awful sweet and adorable and gee I love you so
darn much and you know I always will dear.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Honey please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife
now. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello for me dear and tell all to write.
