My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Honey dear I sure hope you are getting my mail all ight now. You are so darn sweet dolly and I love you so darn much.

I am feeling fine now dear and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here today. It has been trying to rain today and did rain some last nite so it isn’t so awful hot right now. It was sure plenty warm this morning. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now darling.

Honey we just had some mail come in and I got the sweetest letter dear and I was so thrilled to get it darling. It was July the twenty fifth so that was pretty good time Honey. Gee darling you sure haven’t been getting my mail a bit good and I sure can’t see why. Maybe it will start coming in better before long dear.

Boy Honey it sure did get hot all of a sudden at home. I figured that’s the way it would do. Sure hope it doesn’t stay so awful hot now dear cause that sudden change is sure hard on a person You want to take it awful easy now dear and don’t work to hard now cause it is darn easy to get to hot. Boy Honey I’ll bet if I was home I would have you dressed awful cool all the time at home, yes I would now darling. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and can be right together every minute of our time and be able to enjoy every season together.

Darling in my letter today you sent me a picture of some troops that had just landed here in Manila that had come straight from the other side. Yes Honey I guess there is quite a few of them that are coming straight over here. Here we are really happy to get a few months here where there in civilization and a little something to do and those guys don’t like it. They out to sweat it out with us back in some of those jungles. It sure looks as though they could of given all those boys a few days before they brought them on over here but I guess they figure it would just prolong the war that much longer. It sure seems to me that with all the men they have now that they could give guys that have been over so darn long a break of some kind. I don’t think they figure on letting us get home until it is all over and then they will be fooling around for a year or so I guess getting everyone home. I sure hope I am home before it is all over or at least get there right after it is over. Gosh Honey it will be one of the happiest days in my life when I walk out of here with a discharge in my hand and walk into your precious arms to be there for good.

Honey I am sure glad you got your tooth filled and didn’t have to have it pulled. I am sure glad you had him five you a complete check-up dear cause now you don’t have to worry about them for a few months now. Gee darling you have such perfect teeth and I sure want you to take wonderful care of my little wife pearls dear. I never have had to have one filled and just have the one gone and I sure hope I can keep mine that way. There is sure a lot of our guys getting their teeth fixed up here. Some are having gold teeth put in and gold crowns and such as that. Then the army is fixing up a lot of them with partial plates and such as that.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. It will be so darn heavenly when we can hug and kiss each other all we want to dolly. Honey I know God hears our prayers are will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine folly miss you so darn much Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your precious letter now dolly. Please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife dear. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
