My
Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you this evening
and I was so happy to get it dearest. It was July the twenty seventh so that
was pretty good time dearest. I also received one from the folks dear. Gee
darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn
sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful
all over. Gee darling it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can
get your precious letters. Honey I sure hope you are getting my mail all right
now. You are so darn sweet dolly and I love you so darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and
getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now
dearest. Well Honey it has been a rainy day here and it sure is awful hot right
now, a good sign of more rain. It sure did rain all nite
last nite and today. Sure hope you are having some
nice weather now dearest. Boy Honey you have sure had a late season there this
year. Maybe it will stay warm a little longer than usual though. Well I worked
today dearest, on the day shift for a week now.
Gee darling you said you got another
bond the other day and one which makes us five hundred in bonds. Gosh honey you
are doing so darn swell and I am so awful proud of you dearest. Sure we can use
that in ten years for our trip over here dear. I’ll bet this will really be a
beautiful place in ten years all right. Everything will be back to normal
prices again to. Gosh Honey I sure would like for you to see some of the
different things and different customs. It will take me a long, long time to
tell you of all the things I have seen and the experiences I have had in the
past three years Honey. Gee darling you are such a thrifty little wife and have
saved us so much. I will be so darn happy when I am back on the job dear and
can start to making good money once again.
Well Honey you was saying that
things had been going pretty good at the office since Margie got back from her
vacation. Maybe Doke did find out that everyone was a
lot better satisfied while she was on her vacation. Gosh Honey you said she
even acted half decent, maybe it did both of them
good. I sure do hope that things keep going along swell now dear cause I know you feel so much better when you are working
under good conditions dear. Sure hope your work is slacking up some dear and
not to heavy. In this latest letter you said you had three girls working for
you so maybe you will stay pretty well caught up dearest.
Gee darling I am so darn lonesome
for you and want to see you so darn bad I don’t know what to do. It had been so
awful, awful long since we was together dearest, just seems like a person can’t
stand it some times dear. We know we have the worst of our waiting over dear
and that in the near future we will be back in each others arms. I just think
all the time dear about how awful wonderful it will all be and how awful happy
we will be darling. Gosh Honey to be able to hold you in my arms, to have your
precious lips pressed so tight against mine, to hear your voice dear, to have
your arms around me darling, oh gee darling just think how awful heavenly it
will all be. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and our love grows stronger
day by day, a love darling that is so awful true and straight from the heart.
Honey you be sure and keep that precious little chin up now and darling you
know I will to and I know everything will turn out wonderful for us dearest.
Boy Honey when we do get back in each others arms we are sure going to
celebrate and sure start right off making up for all this lost time.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. Isn’t it
wonderful to be married and really own each other Honey.
Darling when I get you in my arms I am going to hold you so awful, awful tight
and kiss you so often, yes sir Honey, just one time right after another.
Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us
together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious
parts now dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much.
Yours are fine dolly miss you so darn much. Honey you are the sweetest and most
adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I
always will Honey.
Well sug I
guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible
now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be
awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little
wife. Remember now dolly, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello
dear.
