My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received two of the sweetest letters from you yesterday evening and I was so darn thrilled to get them dearest. I also received one from the folks dear. Gee darling your precious letters were so darn sweet and wonderful, just like all your precious letters are dearest. They were the third and fourth of August dear so that is sure good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Honey you sure haven’t been getting my mail at all good. Sure hope you are getting it all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, awful hot though. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Gosh Honey I sure hope it has cooled off come at home now. You said it was so awful hot in your letters yesterday dear. I know you just about burn up at the office dear cause it is always so darn hot in town and then you are inside and can’t get any air to amount to anything. Well Honey we have a different working schedule now. We are working around the clock, three shifts, seven to three, three to eleven, and eleven to seven. I am on the three to eleven shift this week. This makes about four or five times since we hit here that they have changed our schedule.

Gosh Honey isn’t the news wonderful. I have just about been holding my breath now ever since I first heard about it and hoping and praying so much that peace can be made and we will have a free world once again and we can all be back together once again. Honey if it is all over it surely won’t be so awful long until I will be in your precious arms and we will never have to leave each other again dearest. Gee oh gee but I am hoping that with in the next few hours that final victory will be announced dear. Boy Honey when the first news hit this place things sure did start. Boy there was all kinds of shooting and shells of all kinds sent in the air, the big search lights were all turn on and just every one was about frantic with joy. If only they accept the terms we sent back to them now and the fighting all over the world stops. It will be one of the happiest days in our life when final victory is announced dear and then when we get into each others arms for good. Boy Honey when we heard the news yesterday at noon and they said that seventy-five percent of the people in some sections of the states were sending in telegrams to Congress not to accept the terms but keep on fighting, I’m telling you we was a plenty hot bunch of guys. I sure hadn’t better ever meet up with any body that says they wanted to keep fighting cause I’m afraid there will be a little trouble. It is damn easy for them to sit back there and say keep fighting but if they would spend a few months over here and go through the hell that the boys go through they sure wouldn’t want to keep going. Gee darling I am hoping and praying so much that is will end soon and we will have peace forever more. We have been waiting for this for three years now dearest, gee what a long wait it has been. Honey if only I can write you tomorrow and it is all settled and we know it is all over, gee it will be wonderful dear.

Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest. We are so happily married dearest and love each other more every day. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to know that we can be together from the very first minute on now. Honey dear I will hold you so darn tight in my arms and kiss you so often. I know God hears our prayers dearest and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts now dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so darn much. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now Honey and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
