My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received two of the sweetest letters from you last nite when I got in from work. They were so awful sweet and precious dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. They were August the second and sixth dear so that was sure good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey won’t it be heavenly when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. Darling you sure haven’t been getting my mail at all good. I write you almost every day Honey just like I always did. About the only day I miss is when we change shifts and I don’t have any time off to amount to anything or something like that. Sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, awful hot though. Gee darling I sure hope the weather has cooled off at home by now. It is so darn hot on you working inside all day Honey. I know when it started getting hot it would really get hot and stay hot. Well I worked the new shift for the first time last nite dear. This one I am on this week isn’t so bad, only thing is a fellow doesn’t have very much time to yourself and that is what I like cause when I have plenty of time to myself I can always write my little darling a good letter every day. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when this thing is all over and I am back on the job and on regular hours once again.

Well Honey the war is still going on and no word from Japan yet as to whether she is going to accept our terms or not. I guess by late tonite we will know for sure. Gosh darling I am hoping and praying so much that when the final announcement comes that it will be peace. The way it seems now though I don’t believe that Japan will accept. If she doesn’t I don’t believe that it will be so very long before it is all over dear cause she is fighting the whole world and doesn’t have anything left to fight with. Gosh Honey it will be one of the happiest dears in our life when this thing is all over and we are back in each others arms and can really start our life together. These past two or three days I have just about been in a dream all the time dear just thinking what it would mean to us if this would all end. Honey we have been waiting for the end for so long now and when it does come we will be one of the happiest couples on earth. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now.

Well dear you was saying that it looked like action was finally getting started about that awful girl at the office. I’ll bet she really wondered what was going on when he called you those girls in and talked to you and then had looked in for quite a while to. That was sure something about him saying that he thought he would wait until some of the boys came home from the service but that things were getting so bad that he had to do something about it now. I am sure glad you talked up to him dear and let him know just how you felt and just how things stood. I knew you would get some action dear if you just kept after him and everyone kept going to him and complaining. I sure hope he does something now and don’t just talk about it. He must be going to do something though or he wouldn’t of said anything about it. Honey you said you had a chance to work at the U.S. employment office on Saturday and Sunday at ninety cents an hour. Gosh Honey you wouldn’t have any time off at all if you did that. I am afraid it would be to much for you dearest. It is all up to you dearest but darling I think it would be to much for you. Please take it easy now dear and don’t work to hard now.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear. You are so darn sweet and precious in every way dolly. Honey dear you are so darn pretty and so precious in every way and I am so awful proud of you darling. Honey dear I am going to hold you so awful, awful tight when I get you in my arms and kiss you so darn much. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much but they will be back together before so very long now. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
