Dear Thomas well here I am again and we got a letter yesterday. Was just a week since we had one and dad he was sure getting nervous. I don’t know just what he thought but he would go down to mailbox every evening when he get home and we did not have any mail to see if any had come in the late mail but he all right now. And we are going to go over to Peggie’s and Mack tonite and they are going to take us to the market to see if we can get any peaches for they are so high around all these little old places. Well I am sure glad now the old war is over and I am sure glad you all right now. What do you think they do with you now. Do you think they let you come home or do you think they put you in something else. I sure do hope they let you come home for I think you have done your part and I think they have got so many other that have not been over there. I sure would like to see some of them go for a little while now that there is no war. Well I close for I want to get this in the mail so answer as soon as possible mother and dad.
