August 29, 1945

Dear Thomas well here I am again and we are just fine, both of us and I talked to Naomi this morning and she was fine to and she said she had 6 letters from you and that always make her feel better. When she get mail she just like us and you to and you must of told her you might get home by xmas for she said you might and she said your finger was a little better to and she said you had a spot on one of your eyes and that you had it opened to well now. You want to be awful careful when you do get to come home and be sure and see that you all fight before you take this discharge for that where they get you if anything happens to you afterwards. But I know now you watch everything. Well there is not much news but just so you get a letter. Well we did not get a letter today but maybe we get one tomorrow. Well answer as soon as possible for we are anxious to hear from you to see how you are. Well I close mother and dad.
