My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be sug. Well dolly no sweet letters today but I am sure hoping tomorrow brings some. Gee darling your precious mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it has been a pretty nice day here, plenty hot though and very little breeze blowing. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest but I expect it is pretty cool. Boy I’ll bet it sure takes me some time to get used to cold weather dear after being over here in the tropies so darn long. We will be so awful close together all the time dear that we won’t have to worry about keeping warm. Won’t it be wonderful snuggled so close together in each others arms dolly. Gee we will be so darn happy darling and everything will be so wonderful.

Well nothing new about getting home dear. Gosh Honey it sure is awful just waiting from day to day in hopes that something definite will come through. Every day seems like a week but maybe it won’t be to much longer before we can find out something. I don’t think we will know anything much before the first or the fifteenth of November though. There was a division left here day before yesterday so that ought to relieve the transportation problem some. It is sure a messed up affair that a person never knows what is going on, just like anything the army does.

Honey we just had some late mail come in and I received two precious letters from you and gee but I was thrilled to get them dear. I also received one from the folks honey. Yours was the third and fifth of October dear so that was sure good. You had received seven letters from me that week to dear and gosh but I was glad to hear that dolly. I guess they are using most of the planes going back to take prisoners of war back home. I sure hope it isn’t very long before I can write you and tell you not to write any more dearest.

Darling I sure think that is a good idea for you to go to your boss as soon as you find out for sure I am coming and tell him and ask him what your chances are for a leave of absence. Like you said Honey, you will be giving them notice ahead of time so you will be able to leave as soon as you hear from me from California and they will be prepared for it to. Gosh Honey I sure hope we can get straightened out right way so you can quit working and just be a little housewife. You know your husband will help you with everything at home dearest and we will have our little apartment so cozy and neat and it will be so much fun taking care of everything together. Gosh Honey we will be so darn happy and everything will be so wonderful. Gee darling just the two of us we won’t have hardly any dishes to do and we won’t get our little home very dirty, it will just take us a little while each evening to keep things in tip top shape. We will get right into some comfortable clothes as soon as we get home, get our supper and then wash our dishes, clean our little apartment up and be all through in just a little while.

Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to know that this is all over and that in the very near future we will be in each others arms really starting our life together. I’ll bet there is sure a lot of couples beginning to see there big mistakes now that the war is over and they are brought back where they can see each other every day. There is going to be plenty of them sorry for the rest of there lives that they left their sweethearts and husbands and wives and they never will find a mate they will really be satisfied with. Gosh Honey we are so happy married and love each other so awful, awful much. Our love is true love dearest and straight from the heart, a love that grows stronger and stronger as the days go by.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. Honey when I get you in my arms I am going to hold you so tight and just kiss and kiss you dear and Honey I’ll be kissing you all over, yes sir Honey. Gosh Darling we will be so darn happy to get back in each others arms we won’t know what to do. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much but they will be together before long dearest. Gosh Honey just think both of us without the towel and doing whatever we want to and being that way as long as we want to. I’ll say it makes it feel good when we write wonderful things to each other dear and so close together. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dolly. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.

Love and more love to my sweet adorable little angel.

Loads and loads of love to my dearest darling wife I love so much.
