My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I just received the sweetest letter from you and I was so thrilled to get it dearest. It was October the twenty fifth so that was pretty good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. This is the first tome I have been able to write you for about three days now dearest and it has been about a week since I wrote the folks I guess. We just don’t have any time to do anything around here cause by the time you sweat out one line you are back in another one and there isn’t any light to write by at night. It ought not be so very long until we will be in each others arms dear and can forget all about letters. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it has been pretty nice weather here the last few days and I sure hope it continues now cause this is sure a mud hole when it is rainy. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear but I expect it is pretty cold there.

Well Honey this is my fourth day here in the casual camp. There has only been one shipment left here since we got here and it wasn’t so very big. We should be in the next shipment or at least in the next two if they are any size at all but it is hard telling when that will be. We were told yesterday that we would be out of here by the tenth of the month but we have been told a lot of things that wasn’t so but I am sure hoping this will be right. Gee darling I am so tired of all this and want to get back to your precious arms so bad I don’t know what to do. In one of these places no one knows anything and you are just in a big fog about everything all the time and haven’t been paid since last month and we were supposed to get a partial pay day before yesterday and we never got it and today they tell us that we are to late now and won’t get any pay at all before we leave here. It sure does get a guy up in the air to have to put up with everything you have to in one of these places. Honey you asked me to tell you what ship I was coming on if I could. Well Honey if I can find out what ship it is I will let you know all right. When my shipping orders come through I am going to write you and let you know I am starting for home dear and I will try and find out the name of the ship to. These last shipments that came in had the name of the ship right on the top of the orders so maybe ours will to. Gee darling I am hoping and praying so much that we will be out of here right away now.

Sure hope this finds you feeling swell dearest and everything going along all right in every way at home now. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now. Sure hope you don’t have too much work now dearest.

Honey you be sure and let the folks know you heard from me now cause I don’t know when I will get to write them now. I am going to try and drop them a few lines before I get out of here if I can get around to it.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. Gee Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. It is so awful wonderful to really own each other and know that we can be right in each others arms from the very first minute on. Honey dear when I get you in my arms I am going to hold you so awful, awful tight and kiss you so often. I know god hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much but they will be together before so very long now. Honey dear you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. Remember now dolly, chin up and always happy now. Please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now dolly and be awful, awful careful now. Tell all hello now dearest.
