Dearest Mom;

            Have received quite a few V mail letter and as they make good time you can continue them.  It sure I nice to know Molly can drive you around so good.  You certainly are lucky staying in bed so late.  We don’t even get Sundays off anymore except for the afternoon.  I think he’ll get some kind of advancement.  I can’t think of anything you can send me but if something comes up I’ll let you know.  We’re pretty well provided for do there is no need to send anything except the “Call” and some V mail.  I’ll try and send you some souvenirs in the near future.  How old is Vic’s boy anyway?  Imagine there is good money in trucking now.  I had a letter from Walter Wightman and he claims to have worked as a truck driver and a bus driver.  He also wants to go in business with me after the war.  You can send some snapshots of home if you want as I’d like them.  I don’t remember Clara Gunski but I might know her by sight.  I can’t remember hardly any of my former schoolmates.  If I had a picture of her I might recognize her but the name is unfamiliar.  Well I’ll close now.  Tell Dad and Molly I send my love and regards and also Stan and Pearl.  I’d like to write to them all but don’t have time.

                                                                                                            Love your son,
