My dear Fran:

Received your letter today which of course makes me very happy so Id better get busy and answer it. Stan, Cookie, Bob and myself went in to Frisco last night and did a little more sight seeing. The only thing we seen last night that we hadn't seen before was the International Settlement which doesn't amount to much. Tonight they want to go to the San Rafael thats a little town this side of Frisco, just some place to drink is all. Haven't heard any thing definite about leaving so we may be here over the week end. They want some of us to pull K.P. tomorrow and we are squawking like [edited for content] about it because we were told we don't have to pull K.P. or any details. We don't do anything all day long but sleep, play cards, and run back and forth to the terminal. The terminal is a large building with restaurant and lounges where all the flights take off from. Today a couples of us went on one of the big C-54's and brother I do mean they are big. They are well equipped and very comfortable. Well honey I haven't anything more to tell you so will close and write to tomorrow. I did forget one thing, I love you very much and always will so be a good girl for me and I'll do the same for you. Give my regards to your folks and our friends, keep in touch with my folks.
