Dear Mathew, Dad & Mitty,

Well, to-day, it was hot and I mean hot. We have had a change but I guess we will move on tomorrow. I don’t know where yet but we will know when we take up our book.

I am well, safe, and strong.

To-day this happy hour was put on as a celebration of VE day- but we have a job to do. And cessation of activities, for just an hour or so did help but I was on duty. This was the program.

Well, I must get a little sleep now. I had a good nite’s sleep last nite and I intend to get one to-night.

No mail to-day well maybe the next stop will have it. Let’s hope so
