Dear John Milton,

You bet I'll answer your letter! I just enjoyed it as much as it brought back memories of the best times I have ever had – playing in the Methodist Publishing House. Didn't we have fun though! Lacey still teases me about it all - “How's John Milton”, he will say and then laugh.

I have had a wonderful winter. Since Feb. I have done nothing but dance and make money – 'tis a gay bunch. School in a mild climate is rather wary as I am either wishing to be out in the sun in falling asleep over the books. As a whole the “southwestern year” has been quit a success for me. As for the proper dawn in the “High school”; most of them are too stuck-up to have anything to do with a stranger. A few have fallen out of step to show me real fellowship(girls only) I have been dancing and running around with a crowd of young freshmen in the University; lot sa been I'll say!

Lets see now; see the nerve has run from my mind like water – what shall we talk about. Oh, yes – do you all swim and dance in the city? I suppose you fill your weekends with dates, club, and dances- I say that as it if what I do. Maybe I had better hangup as my pen is growing weak and senseless.

Give my love to all the family – for me and tell them that I will be back to “me ole home state” by the 11th of June. As the time draws near my heart leaps up and down thinking of the excitement and fun awaiting me.

John Milton- it certainly was nice of you to write and very happy it made me too. I'll never forget you and our good times.

Sincerely,

Nell
