Monday

Darling Girl,

Another little note for I have not yet had time to receive from you a letter xx but I’ll bet it will only be tomorrow before I get one. I am sort of exhausted as far as chit chat goes without having heard from you. No kidding little bug in a berg like this with practically nothing doing and I mean nothing it sure is hard until we get a mutual subject.

George and I went to the movies last night to hear our dream boy sing Frank Sinatra. I am still a little sick but anyway the rest of the picture was pretty good. We go tonight to see the picture called The Texans and you know that I won’t miss that if it can be helped. I saw the teaser and it has Indians in it too. I’ll let you know whether to go or not. I wanted to play golf in the afternoon with a G—and a couple of the boys but the eternal rain is here and it rained most all day. I guess that we can expect that from now on until the end of December. That doesn’t make me like it any better.

My little trip threw me all out of kilter with my laundry as I wrinkled and spoiled all my clothes for of course I brought all I owned for my long term stay. Then when I got back the darn laundry woman failed to do my laundry for that week. Now I am in a pretty pickle. Even if I bought some new ones I could not wear them until they were washed and laundered.

I suppose that you are curious about my new job and I can only say that there is little to say about it. I am still and will remain very unhappy over it but as I said before there is little that can be done about but sweat it out and hope for the best in the way of break. I am certainly misplaced for this is not my line of work and now that I have looked it over I am sure of it.

Darling as I read this over I am sort of ashamed to send it on to you for it certainly is not an entertaining letter and contains practically nothing but a little gab. You know that I can do better and I will in the near future it this time. I love you very dearly my darling and send you lots of it with this letter.

Adios.
