Darling Mine,

Here is Pop again and with absolutely nothing to gab about.  I haven’t had a letter from you for several days though I look for one each mail now.  I never do understand the irregularity of it for the life of me.  I guess you are the same way.

I have heard nothing further about things except that nothing has come thru as yet for I asked direct and I believe that that is correct though one cannot tell for sure.  I am doing my best to lay the ground work for what ever good it might do.  I wrote to Ken and asked him to let me know from his end what the status is and I suppose he will.  I am still anxious to get your next letter.  There is one little piece of news this AM.  LS got the Legion of Merit for the Tng C work.  I will not discuss it except to say that there are several officers who have been completely over looked.  Yost and Arnold and the rest of that first bunch who put in the first two years of the expansion beginning before the war should certainly receive recognition and might get it in time though it begins to look a little late.  I am also disappointed that mine did not go thru.

Geo. And I were off to the movies again last night and saw the Desert Song, just another movie.  I hope that our eyes hold out.  Darling, forgive this short note but this morning that is all I can accomplish.  I send my love and devotion to you sweetheart, Adios.
