Darling,

I am enjoying the Florida climate and am glad that it is not later in the year.

The meet is progressing and we are full of conferences- I did get to play golf yesterday afternoon, but that will be the last during this visit.

They had a cocktail party last night but with my diet I restricted it to a couple of bottles of beer- I did break down that much- It is sort of hard to diet away from home- you just don’t eat we take what they have.

I wanted some good sea food but it seems due to the war it is hard to get- guess they can’t get the fisherman- I’ll volunteer for a day or two.

The CT party was just the visiting officer crowd- Johnny Magan, Mattey and Jack Horton came in, I was glad to see him- he is still on the west coast-A-3- He asked about you and sends greetings-
