My Darling,

I am beginning not to like that house already, it has kept you away almost a month now and from your letters I hear and see no prospective date of return – Gosh dam it.  All I can picture is one of these days a set of orders coming that morning “little” Edwin off to some place and then I will really resent this lost time – I’m not griping lady loss, I know it cannot be helped and that you are really having your troubles – I do hope this that you have them solved by now.  I wouldn’t worry about trees and friends and such dear for everybody knows the circumstances these days – Hope you get a         (substantial) right away –

This, Sunday morning and “Pop” didn’t get up until after nine – the paper and then here to the office for a while – last night I just sat around at home with the radio and a borrowed book – The Eades asked me over for some rummy playing but I didn’t feel much like it so stayed here.  Saturday night radio sure is punk.  This morning is a lovely bright sunshiny day and I thought when I woke up what a wonderful morning to have paid you a little visit for a session of love and cuddling before the Sunday morning breakfast –

Well anyway it was fun to think about –

I am eating the lettuce and radishes – you had better hurry – your peas you have heckled me about have been staked for sometime but as yet “no peas” – but soon-

I have been eating fish (bass) and venison right along – Alice goes to the cannery once in a while for soup and carrots and a few odds and ends –

We are getting an ok but now as we would like to with the masters touch to everything – Your little Mexican is very loyal Diane and tries to do as you would want constantly –

Gin Matheny will be down Wednesday Pm and return the next day – when you return will you stop in SA and call me on what?

Sweet lady another letter to you is closing but I send you my devotion and love and am waiting for you –

                                                                                                Edwin
