Darling Mine,

Well my Pensacola belle- how does it?

More of “those papers” arrived yesterday, which I immediately forwarded air mail- special delivery- registered- whew! Hope the receipt of these will put you somewhere nearer the ticket office. Remember- “the West” and of course “Pop.”

Nothing much to tell you about here darling. Monday went by as usual- am looking forward to Filber Magee and molly tonite- ho hum- no wife.

Alice was very happy with your letter and appeared able to read it alright.  The flowers and things are blooming like sixty.  Be all to seed soon lady.

I really have to get up early next Sunday- Easter.  I am to make the opening address to an outdoor service between the chapel here at the post.  It will be short and sweet I’ll tell you- better tell me what to say. That part of an occasion is unfamiliar to me.  Hope you are here to go with me but I guess not, the way it looks.

Lady love, pop is lonesome and misses his little chum.  Loads of love to you my darling.

            Edwin
