Dearest, Today has been very hot but so far I’ve accomplished quite a lot. The wash is done and dry, and the lawn in back has been cut, and the car has been checked, washed, and had its oil changed. This evening, after I get cleaned up I’m going to get at the school work which has to be finished for Monday. I haven’t heard from you for almost a week, that’s why I’m sending this kind of letter. You’re still getting the more detailed ones too so keep looking for them. I haven’t anything from either of the jobs I wrote about. I suppose they aren’t interested in summer workers. The second one was one which asked for pay roll clerks for two or three days a week. Just the boy number was given so I don’t know where either of them were. I think maybe I shall go to church in Freehold tomorrow – my thoughts and prayers are with you always – God bless you and keep you – love – Mary -
