Dear Anna:

Received your most welcomed letter and I was glad to hear from you and the rest of the family and I hope you are all well and happy.

It certainly looks like they are speeding things up here in camp. We expect to turn some of our stuff in this week so I guess it won’t be long now and we will be singing over there on Tipprary etc. We all chipped in and we had a Battery farewell party last week in the barracks we had beer, sandwiched soda etc. We even had the Colonel and Major enjoying himself with us and every body had a swell time it was something that we will always remember.

I am very happy to know that your finger is ok and I hope you and the rest of family are in the best of health and happy.

Closing with lots of love to you and Best regards to everybody.

                                                            Always Yours

                                                                        Tony
