Dear Anna:

Received your most welcomed letter and I am very glad to hear that everyone is in the best of health and doing ok.

I am very glad to hear that mom has gone to the shore again because I think it does her a lot of good and gives her a chance to get away from a stuffy and warm city and I hope that she will take care of herself and that she will have a good time.

I don’t think my army number on the letter would make any difference in receiving mail any quicker however I am sending you my number any way in case you would like to use it.

I want to thank you for whatever you send me and I want you to know I sure appreciate it. Lots of love to you regards to all

                                                            Forever, always yours

                                                                        Tony
