Dear Dot and Dana,

Just came from chow and will write a few lines before I go out to sea. We will be out all afternoon and all night tonight. Thank god this is our last time out to sea. We thought we were through Wednesday but they changed their mind and we have to go out today. We were supposed to leave here the first of the week, but my div. officer told me yesterday that we had another week to hang around. We will be all through training today but I suppose they will find some work for us to do next week.

If I go someplace near home and get a leave I will let you know before I come. Don’t stop writing because I don’t know for sure just the day I will leave.

I wont need any money. We have a pay coming next week and I think I will get a little money. Hope so anyway . Gee, they sent Blaine quite a ways from home. Didn’t they? I think there is an airplane mechanic school there. If I remember right that is where Ralph Parker went, that tall guy that went to boots with Carol.

Still I don’t see how he got into a school like that, cause, he don’t know a wrench from a screwdriver.

Poor Bob, bet he’s sorry he joined up now, they probably wont keep him there long. Well dear, have got to go now.

                        Love and xxxxx
