Dear Dot & Dana,

It has been just a month now since I last heard from you and believe me Dottie I miss your letters and I know mine are few and far between now too.  I know this won’t be mailed for another few days but I thought I would get two or three written ahead so you would get them all at once and maybe make you feel better.

I am still fine and everything is going sell with me.  It has been quite comfortable the last few days, not quite so hot but it manages to rain every day.  It must be getting pretty cold at home now, isn’t it?  Just a few days before Thanksgiving, gee, I wish I could be home with you and Dana and have dinner with you.  Maybe next year I will.

The last time I heard from you, you were still down home; you must be living downtown by now and I am wondering what you did to the barn if anything.  I sure hope my mail catches up with me soon.

I have been doing a little painting the last few days.  I painted my boat inside and out and it looks pretty good, but it won’t stay that way very long.

Well Dot, I hope you and Dana are fine and getting along OK.  I miss you like hell.

All my love and a million kisses,

                                                Beecher
