Somewhere in England

Dear Mary:

[I] received your letter and very glad to hear from you and know that you are all well and getting along alright. I am well and getting along alright so I have no cause for complaints. Mary wrote that she was down on her vacation and she really likes her place. It must be real nice and I’m sure you like it a lot. She said she was sending some pictures of it. I just now came back from my furlough and I really had a fine time. I spent all my money so I will have to stay in camp until I can save some more. I spent the first part in Penyance and the rest of it in London. I saw some fine movies and also a very good stage show, also had a very fine steak. [I] got lost a few times but always found my way again. Well, as space is gone I will have to close for this time.

                                    Love to all
