Dear Tom,

How is the college body doing these days? I hope you are doing well at school and the work isn’t too pressing.

I am fine myself and we have good facilities here, hot showers, good bunks and lots of places to wash our laundry. England is a really beautiful country and the scenery is the best I’ve ever seen. Nice little farms, green grass and everything neat and orderly.

English money is really something to figure out. It is still a bit of a puzzle to me – shillings, pounds, pennies, etc, some fun.

I hope Estelle and the baby are in good health – Denny‘s picture is with me of course and I say hello to him every day. He is quite a guy that son of yours. Write when you have a chance.
