Dear Mom:

Just a few lines, letting you know, that I’m alright and everything is O.K. There isn’t anything to report other than I went to church on Easter Day.

The weather up here has been, or is, very unsettled. It has rained off and on for almost every day since we arrived. The temperature is low, I guess around 35 or 40 degrees. It always seems colder though, when it is damp outdoors.

Tell Marie, that I received her Easter card on Monday and tell Margaret that I received her’s to-day. Thank them both for me, Mom, and tell them that I said it was swell for them to send me a remembrance.

How are you? Also Pop, and the rest of the gang? I’ll be waiting to hear about all of them in your next letter to me.

Now it is time to close, and I’ll do just that, trusting you all at home is enjoying good health and in the best of spirits.
