France

Dear folks,

I’ve been receiving your mail regularly, and I certainly enjoy the letters.  Keep them coming.  Received a letter from Lenore, with the boys picture.  Isn’t he a honey, but I guess I’d think that regardless.  I’m really feeling good, and I’m getting plenty to eat.  Somethings are not what we expect in the States, but I can take it.  Everyone’s Morale is high here, just tell the people there not to worry about us or our morale, just pass us the ammo, and food, we’ll do the rest.  Of course we don’t like it here, never expected too.  We just want to finish a nasty job soon, and come home.  Tell the people to bring us the goods and that is all we need.  Well I guess I’ve raved long enough about that subject, so I’ll stop it.  I certainly would like to have some type of a waterproof cigarette case, and if you can find one please send it and you will make me the happiest lt. in all of France.  Don’t worry about your son.
