Dear Mom & Dad,

Well another month gone and I’m a 3 month Marine. It doesn’t seem that long does it? I have just gotten back from chow. Tell Dad he should be down here. All we have is Pork Chops and Fried Chicken and I know he likes that. We have pork chops practically every meal in the week or steak one and on Sunday we always have Fried Chicken.

Tell Dad he can get some good hot cakes down at Steve’s. I used to eat them when I was delivering papers. I received both of the papers you sent me and really enjoyed them. I read everything including the advertisements.

Well I don’t know anything of news except we were in another parade Saturday with our full packs.

Tell Julia she must be losing her grip on Ronnie Ha! Ha!

PS. Have been out of envelopes and just went down to the P.S. and got some so I am putting both in one envelope to save envelopes.

Today we had lessons on first aid and that is all we’ve done all day. A lot of this stuff in first aid I have already had.
