Dear Mom-

I’m stealing a few minutes from K.P. to drop a line- yes I’m back at it again. The T/5 doesn’t mean much here. It isn’t bad though. We have a record player here and I’m listening to it now. I’ve seen several more movies. Last night I saw the “Saint in Palm Springs” and “Algiers.”

Glad to hear Gene is back in England. He saw action quickly. I know he enjoyed seeing Casablanca. I see he is still blessed with that dry wit. Hope I can get to see him soon.

I’ve had letters from several friends I still haven’t heard from the War Dept. regarding the allotment.

Write often. I’ll try to do the same.
