Dear Mom-

Just received your letter in answer to my first since arriving- Glad you finally heard I have missed a few days recently but I wrote rather consistently for a couple of weeks-I’ll try to write a few lines each day-

We’re still having a physical training program-I feel fine-have gained some weight and altogether it’s a good life-

Heard from Anne also-said you had called her and given her my new address- In case you didn’t get my other letter as yet remember that my A.P.O. number has changed again It is now 230-

Haven’t heard from Gene-Said he’s out on a mission again- Hope he returns soon and I can arrange to meet him-
