July 7^th-

Dear Mom-

Just a line to say I’m ok and that I got your letter of the 17^th yesterday- the one the day before was the 20^th – the mail comes like that sometimes- I don’t mind though- just so it comes.

I wrote a long letter last night- and just thought I’d drop this note while I have the chance.

Say hello to everyone for me- I’m going to try to send some Souvenirs to you- soon-
