Novemeber 29- Only 29 shooting day till Xmas

                                                            Somewhere in Belgium-

Dear Ginny-

Thanks a million for the Bob Hope book “I Never Left Home” It’s funny as the dickens- Joe read about a third of it- I’m sort of rationing myself with it- One of the nurses is reading it now and I imagine the whole platoon will read it before long-

At the moment I have gone into Christmas card manufacturing business- I’ll send you one if they turn out as I hope- We’re in a semi-rest period- nothing much to do but time to be put in- We’re in a very comfortable place and we’ve really got a lot to be thankful for.

How is everything on the home front? I haven’t had any communiqués lately- the mail situation is pretty bad with the Xmas rush.  When it comes it will probably be a bunch all at once- still it’s good to get it- no matter how much or how seldom it comes-

Haven’t heard for quite some time how my brother in arms is getting along- He wrote that he had been in Liege and I too have visited that city- Did my Xmas shopping there- I certainly would like to see him- We’ll have some great tales to tell when we get home-

Write to me sometime chief and give me the lowdown on all the folks, scandal, news + views- Wish you’d try to locate Jack Williams for me- I think he’s in Richmond- if you’d call the Kappa Psi Fraternity House on West Grace or West Franklin some of the fellows could probably tell you where to contact him- Give him my address and send me his if you can find him-

So long for this time- Write soon-

Love

Jack
