Dear Mom –

Just a note to say that I’m ok and to send this money order – Things are about the same here – nothing much to do – and lots of time to do it – Marjorie has gone on a furlough to the Riviera and I miss her terribly – She certainly did appreciate your note – Thanks a lot –

Our mail is not coming thru very well now – With all the redeployment of troops going on it is sometimes necessary to hold the mail – A few letters do come thru – but very few – the whole unit had only Three Letters in the last two days. I haven’t heard from anyone except you for a week or so except one letter form Charlotte

We still have no news on what we’ll do – It now looks as if we will not be occupation – but other than that I know nothing-

Hope everyone at home is well – wish I could be with you now -  Keep on writing as the mail will finally come thru –

            Love

Jack
